Relay for Kids 2008!

The Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House RELAY for KIDS, sponsored by The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, is a dynamic fundraising effort culminating in a fun-filled one-day event to raise awareness and support our mission of providing for families with children in the hospital. Prior to the Relay, registered teams solicit donations from their family, local businesses, schools, places of worship, and other friends and then gather to celebrate at the big event taking place once again at Redland’s beautiful Sylvan Park.

In addition to the excitement of the all day fun run/walk, Relay for Kids also offers walkers a chance to win team awards such as best team name, best team campsite, best team t-shirt, most team miles, just to name a few. Walkers also have an opportunity to participate in the ’Relay Idol’ and ’Dance Like a Star’ contests. The Relay for Kids has something for everyone: A Kids Zone with endless activities for children, a Sport’s Zone where teams can compete in a variety of fun sporting events, a Corvette Car Show, Vendor Expo with shopping, entertainment, and all kinds of delicious food vendors!
